Shipping/Receiving

Shipping/Receiving provides a central application within Vantage to monitor incoming and outgoing items, whether it is shipments against an order, sending subcontract parts to a vendor, receiving raw material from a purchase order to a job or into inventory, or filling an order from stock. All activity relating to shipments and receipts can be performed and tracked through this module.

On-line transaction processing promotes efficiency and ease of use, while on-line editing promotes accuracy. With Shipping/ Receiving, a consistent interface processes all shipments and receipts in an efficient, accurate, cost-effective and profitable manner.

Shipping Performance
Provides executive summary of company trends regarding delivery performance, including number of shipments made, percentage on-time delivery, and average days variance between customer promise and delivery.

Mass Ship
Optionally mass release shipping lines from orders with same ship-to address.

Subcontract Parts
Track shipments and receipts of subcontract items on-line, with graphical, point-and-click entry.

Shipping Labels
Optionally print customized shipping labels for each order. Labels include the customer’s name and address and can also include the purchase order number, order number, ship via, number of packages, shipping comment, and weight.

Miscellaneous Receipts
Enter online any miscellaneous receipts to a job or into inventory.

Packing Slips
Print packing slips to fill orders to customers or ship parts to subcontractors with general or detailed line comments.

Payment Vouchers
Purchase order receipts create on-line payment vouchers in Accounts Payable.

Auto-Invoice
Shipments to customers optionally create invoices in Accounts Receivable.

Utilities
Pop-up calendars and calculators are always available for users to dynamically integrate date and numeric information with their Shipping/Receiving entries.

Auto-Close
Final shipment status closes a customer’s Sales Order but retains the ability to re-open if necessary.

Flexible
Planned receipts into inventory can be diverted to receive directly to a job, or vice versa.

User-Defined Forms
Customizable packing slips and shipping labels.

Bill of Lading
Print customizable Bill of Lading forms for your shipments.

Integration
Shipping/Receiving is fully integrated with the Order Management, Job Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing Management, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules.
