Vantage Scheduling

Functions include forward or backward scheduling of individual jobs, finite or infinite capacity scheduling and "what if" modeling. Extensive screen inquiries and reports give management the ability to locate overload and slack conditions, delinquent jobs, actual or simulated bottleneck conditions, in either a graphical or numeric format.

Production Scheduling Board
A main control center for scheduling jobs graphically displays schedule by job, department or work center. Scroll through jobs and zoom in to selected job, assembly or operation detail.

Late Job Alert
Graphical identification of potentially late jobs, operations or assemblies in either a what-if or actual schedule format.

Finite Scheduling
Global finite capacity rescheduling option allows the reschedule of the entire plant after first locking key jobs and operations, and establishing user-defined job priority factors. Finite capacity load leveling by work center is also supported for rapid management of key bottleneck work centers within your plant.

Drag ’n Drop
Faced with overload conditions at critical work centers, the user may literally drag ’n drop scheduled load hours forward or backward to alleviate the overload and effectively reschedule the job.

Job Schedule
Gantt view of job assembly or individual schedule.

Overload Informer
Displays each date and work center where scheduled hours exceed capacity based on what-if or actual job schedules. Provides access to work center and job scheduling information to review the causes of the overload and to make schedule changes, if desired.

What-If
Jobs may be scheduled in a "what-if" mode, with the ability to analyze potential bottlenecks before locking into actual schedule.

Just in Time Scheduling
Interactive scheduling of materials, sub- contracting and operations to ensure that all job variables are accounted for in an accurate scheduling system.

Work Centers
Define an unlimited number of machines within each work center and input the unique hours/day capacities per machine. Work centers may be set up with their own individual queue and move times to be figured into the job schedule calculations.

Assemblies
Multiple assemblies on a job are interactively scheduled to be completed on a single due date. Indented levels are scheduled and tracked.

User-Defined Interface
Customize colors to denote actual, "what-if" or delinquent load by job/operation. View schedule board from 1/4-hour to 52-week intervals.

Integration
Vantage Scheduling is fully integrated with Job Management and Data Collection to maximize on-time customer delivery performance.
