Advanced Planning and Scheduling

The Advanced Planning & Scheduling solution is a sophisticated scheduling tool, designed for those companies with highly complex scheduling needs in very dynamic environments. APS enables you to simultaneously schedule materials and resources. It is a powerful enhancement to Vantage's Scheduling module, giving companies total control over every scheduling variable, including earliest due date, shortest processing time, critical ratio and sequence dependent setup.

Unlimited Number of Constraints
Every operation has potentially an unlimited number of constraints including machines, tools, skilled labor, raw materials or available subassemblies to name a few.

Overlapping Operations
Schedule containers up to the minute instead of guessing approximately when they will be complete.

Finite/Infinite Capacity
Each resource can be defined as either finite or infinite capacity. When a piece of the schedule is moved, the resource is always rescheduled according to its type.

Resource Eligibility
Machines within a specific work center are defined with individual characteristics to make scheduling more accurate.

Time Adjustments
Machine utilization and work center efficiency are automatically taken into account so load is accurately calculated.

Optimization Rules
